—♦ ANNUAL COMPETITIONS. The annua! competitions of -the Band oi Jlono Union wero confirmed at tho Choroi HaTl last evening. There was a very prood attendance and Mr E. A. M. Ls.ivcr presided. A well varied ar.d lengthy programme was presented. Tho following are the prize winners for Tuesday ui?ht: Pianoforte Solo.—Class C—Dorothy "Wicks (Durham Street Mission), 79 marks, 1; Beulh Burrc!l (Sydenham United) and Lawrence Rickard (Liuwood Methodist), each 70 marks, 2. Irene Leaver (Linwood 1.0. R.), 73 marks, 4. Vocal Solo (male).—Fred Chapman (Woolston), 87 marks, 1; Raymond Stockdata (Avonfide), 82 marks 2; Alexander Black (Bastion Memorial), 70 marks, 3. Tenor Solo.—Mr P. Austin (Richmond), 79 marks, 1.
