PROCEEDING DIRECT TO AUSTRALIA. Australian and JJ.Z. Cable Aa?oci%tion. (Received October 5, 12.20 a.m.) SANTIAGO (Chili), October 4. Sir Ernest Shackleton has decided not to go to England. He will proceed to Australia to command the expedition to rescue the ten members of the party, who remain with scanty provisions on the west side south of the polar continent, where they wore stranded when the Aurora was carried away. Sir Ernest Shackleton . expectg to roach Australia on November 25.
