MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH. Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., presided at tho Magistrate’s Court yesterday. On charges of drunkenness, Rate Dooley and Elizabeth Brocks, second offenders, wore each fined 10s, the lastnamed being prohibited at her own request. Judgment by default, with costs, was given for the plaintiffs in tho following oases: —David Dann v. James Durkin, £5 4s lid; F. D. Kestevcn v. D. Adamson, £l6; Neill and Co., Ltd. v. J. H. Tone, £4 6s Gd; Strange and Co. v. Pearce Rogers, £lO 7s sd; same v. Henry Charles Young, £l9 Is lid; Bishop and Co. v. C. W. Ogden, £2 10s 4d; Motor Sales, Ltd. v. R. H. Martin, £4 3s 3d. KAIAPOI. * Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M., presided at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. For failing to attend a military camp, C. J.’.Stopo was fined £5 and costs and L- M’Hugh 40s and costs-.
