CADETS' CAMP AT RANGIORA
On Saturday iho Cadets of Nos. 9, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 Companies in North Canterbury went into camp for a week at the Rangiora Show Ground.' Inclusive of officers the camp parade strength is 252- Major T. It- Crosswell is in command, and the officers with him are Lieutenants G. S. Lnmbie (Adjutant 13th Regiment),, H. Batcholor and E. B. Skovingtou (camp adjutant). Staff-Sergeant-Majors Shuttleworth, Stewart. Phillips and Burns and Quartermaster-Sergeant Solomon are also in attendance, and Chaplains WH. Howis (Itangiora) and J. Hay ( The tent accommodation being insufficient and some of the interiors being damp from the recent ram, the Dull Hall is being used as a sleeping place for 140 lads. , Tho syllabus of training will be very similar to that arranged for the lerritorials' camp last week It will include elementary drill and field exeicisos, with evening lectures. Yesterday the lads attended the morning services at the. various churches in the town, and the Regimental Band from Kaiapoi played tor the parade, and also in the camp during tho afternoon, where there was a largo attendance.
