FLOWER SHOWS.
METHVEN' ALL- SAINTS- CHURCH. Tlie annual 'flower' show'nailer the auspices of the Methven All Saints’ Church Vestry, was held in the Jlethven Town Hall on Thursday afternoon, and was lately attended. A feature of the show was the exhibits of tho pupils of tho public school, who had a good collection of bulbs. In addition to the ordinary show, Mr Beumelberg (Christchurch) arid Mr H. A toa room and awcet starll was -oouducted by Mrs liilton. Owing' to the wet night tile attendance was not' us-largo ,os-expected, .but the committee expect to-be ablo to band over a good sum to tho Red Cross hinds. Special interest was taken in the beautiful table decoration exhibits of Mrs-Cut-ten, Mis Guild and the Salvation Army Home, each being highly commended by the judge.
