The only exception to the prevjqus facilities \vt*ald be that no. publication - of the numbers required for tho various branches of military service would b 9 allowed. The total of the district quota fixed could be published, but; not the number attached to the jnfautry, the artillery or any other brancohs. Colonel Chaffey added that the pew recruiting scheme was working smoothly and well in the district. ‘ , /
