SMUGGLING RUBBER.
MERCHANTS SENTENCED. Beuter’a Telegram*. - (Received September 29, 12.50 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, September 28. A German merchant named Voigt, representing a German rubber factory, and three others, have been sentenced to 120 days’ imprisonment each and fined £17,600 for smuggling rubber into Germany in herring barrels.
