THE NORTHERN FRONT.
AUSTRIAN ATTACKS REPULSED.

A communique says:—Our artillery prevented an enemy attempt to consolidate positions. We evacuated the summit of Monte Cirnone and decisively repulsed counter-attacks on tho position on Mount Sief captured on Saturday.
AUSTRIAN REPORT.
ITALIANS REFUSED ARMISTICE.
(Received September 27, 9.40 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, September 27. A Vienna communique says:—The Italians would not accept a local armistice on tho Cimone summit, which was blown up. '
