A German communique says
Tho Rumanians have captured tho frontier heights and are astride tho ridgo between tho Szurduk and Vulcan Passes. Tho garrisons in the passes repulsed all attacks but were withdrawn.
RUMANIANS ADVANCING. (Received September 27, 9.40 p.m.) BUCHAREST, September 27. A communique says:—There was fierce fighting in tho Jiul Valley in Transylvania, where the Rumanians advanced.
BUCHAREST BOMBED. WOMEN AND CHILDREN KILLED. (Received September 27, 9.40 p.m.) BUCHAREST, September 27. A communique s&ys.:—A squadron of aeroplanes bombed Bucharest on Monday afternoon and struck a hospital and an orphanage, killing sixty people and wounding many, mostly women and children. A Zeppelin bombed Bucharest on Monday night, killing five children.
