_— ; [Pxr Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 13. In the Magistrate's Court, Ernest James Wilson pleaded guilty to a charge of forgery, and was committed for sentence. Accused on August 29 visited a jeweller's shop and purchased a diamond ring and other articles to the value of £l9 10s. He_ tendered a cheque on the Bank of New Zealand for £34 and the cheque, was returned marked: “ Account closed. Signature unlike.”
