CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The annual meeting of tho East Christchurch Cricket Club was held last night. Mr R B. Ward presided over a small attendanee. TJIO report, which wa« very brief, xirged members to increase the membership. The club was heartily congratulated on the fine, patriotic spirit displayed by members over tho war. Tho annual meeting of tho Linwood Cricket Club was held in the Lihwood Chess Club s rooms last night, Mr W. L. King presiding. The report and balance-sheet, which wore adopted, referred to the deplorable financial position of tho club caused by loss of members and the failure of riicmbers to recognise their responsibilities.
