SCARLET FEVER PATIENTS.

TO TUB KDITOB. Sir,—On reading " Fair Notice's " account of his views of scarlet fever patients, I would like to add a fewlines to endorse his statements. In the course of my rounds—l am an insurance agent—lately I have called at a number of houses where, after I have been talking at the door, Bometimes inside/for perhaps ten minutes, the occupier casually mentions that there is scarlet fever in the house. I understand the milkman, baker, etc., all' call as usual at these houses, and as far as I can see not the slightest precaution is taken to warn callers. I also wish to point out that for every hou% where there is a patient there should be a conspicuous notice to tha effect, to warn tho public of the danger of infection.—l am, etc., FAIR NOTICE No. S.
