WAR LOANS. The 3J per cent British war loan is quoted at £B6 10s, unchanged since last week. The 4J per cent British war loan is quoted at £96 10s, compared with £96 5s last week. • IMPERIAL CONSOLS. Imperial 21 per cent Consols are quoted at £59-10s, compared with £59 5s Inst woek. At this date last year they wero £66 0s 7Jd. COLONIAL STOCKS. . The following aro quotations for colonial stocks with prices, ruling last week: —

BUTTER. Butter is very dull. Buyers aro holding of! as much as.possiblo owing to the high prices. Danish is rather easier ns a result of the temporary increase of supplies, and is quoted at about 200 s. Now Zealand is nominal ponding (now arrivals. For New Zealand Sepjember shipments,*.lß6s c.i.f. is asked. A fow sales are reported at 1825.' CHfeESE. Cheese is steady. New Zealand and Canadian are qiloted at 103 s to 104 s. The Government’s prohibition of the export of rennet has caused a stoppage of some parcels bought for Australian cheeso-makers' agents. _ The Agent-General’s attention has been directed to the' matter. SUGAR. Sugar is unchanged. WOOL. ' The Bradford wool market iB healiftr in tone, and there is more inquiry. Quotations: Sixty-fours 53d, super 62d, common sixties old, fifty-sixes 39d. fifties 82Jd, forty-sixes 28d, forties 26Jd. WHEAT. Wheat is quiet and slightly easier. Flour is steady, and is quoted at \rom 49s to 60s. 1 PEAS AND, BEANS. Peas are firm and unchanged. Beans are steady. Now Zcaianda are not offering. OATS. S Oats aro firm, and little is offering. La Biota, on spot, 31s 3d. ' metals. Copper.—On spot, £lO9 10s; forward, £lO6 10s; eleotrolytic, £l3O. Tin.—£l7o 17s 6d to £l7l 12s 6d. Lead.—On spot, £3l; forward, £3O.
