While a pupii of tho Kohimarama Aviation School was making a flight in a seaplane ho mot with an accident, resulting in the machine falling into tho soa and causing damage to the wooden framework' and to one of the floats. Tho pupil escaped with an immersion in tho water. Tbo mishap was caused by the ma-‘ chine alcending at too acute an angle, or, in professional language, “stalling.” Hie seaplane was about 701 T in tho air when it fell. Tho launch attached to the Aviation School went to tho rescue, and after taking the pilot on board towed tho damaged madii.no ashore.
