VALUABLE CARGO.
£25,000 IN BULLION SALVAGED. NAPIER, August 31. The Koutunui arrived at Napier about 10.30 p.m. with £25,000 bullion in boxes, and effects of tho passengers and crew from tho wreck. The Tuatu got right alongside, as the weather waa calm, and' salvaged tho effects. A lot of valuable cargo is on board, and some may be salvaged, if fine weather keeps up. The vessel is unlikely to' break up unless an enstorly or northeasterly gale sots up. Tho Te Aroha is leaving Wairoa to be on the sceno, and extra efforts aro to ho made.
