CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. Tho Management Committoo of the Cantorbury Hookey Association met last evening; pre&ent—Messrs AV. Simpson (in tho chaw). O. Jones, C. Bellamy, W H. Down, E.. N. Smith, N. Goldsbury and P. Agar (secretarj). It was decided to write to the Sydonham Club in regard to marking the ground* at Sydenham Park. - The Christchurch Club was granted permission to withdraw it* Third Grade team from the competition. . It was decided, after some discussion, that Sydenham and Christchurch should play for th« final of tho First Grade competition. It was decided that the registration fee of one shilling for grounds should bo remitted this*, season on account of the low finances ot the different clubs, owing to tho war. The president (Mr Simpson) was congratulated on his election as president ot the Ladies’ Association, it being remarked that it was a stop in the right direction towards the amalgamation of tho two associations.
