NEW ZEALAND’S ARMY
FULL DIVISION IN THE FIELD.
OCCUPY THE YP.RES SALIENT.
[Per Prise Association.] DUNEDIN, August 16. The Hon J. Allen states that Zealand lias a full division in th© field, numbering over 20,000 men, who occupy the Ypres salient. They were formerly under the command of General Birdwocd, but General Godley, Commander of the New Zealand Expedition- ✓ ary Force, is now commanding the Anzac Army Corps, including New Zealanders and a portion of the Austro-. Hans. The Now Zealand division is under the command of General Sir A. - H. Russell, and General Birdwood lias taken over a new command.
