RANGERS ♦ASSOCIATION CLUB.

ROLL OF HONOUR UNVEILED BY MAYOR. At last evening's meeting of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Football Association there was a fair attendance of "Soccer" players, the proceedings being marked by the unveiling of a roll of honour containing names of players from the Rangers Club who had enlisted. The Mayor (Mr H. Holland), at the request of the president (Mr R. English), performed the unveiling ceremony. The Mayor congratulated "Soccer" footballers on tho manner in which they had come forward for the Empire, and said that he was proud to be tho patron of the Rangers Club, which had sent ever 50 per cent of its members to tho front. Two members had paid the supremo penalty, and all sympathy went to tho relatives. The Mayor related several stories of heroism displayed by.tho Anzacs at Gallipoli, and urged those who could not go to the

front to give the soldiers when they returned the heartiest of welcomes. The framed illuminated roll of honour -was then unveiled. Mr English read out the names on the roll of honour, which were as follow : £}.' Blatherwick, J. Blues, D. Camerji, F. Oooch, R. Challiuor, J. Drummond, A. Hancock, C. Hyslop. G. Innes, G Norman, C. A. Head, 0. Ranger, A. Walton, F. Glover, J. Hunter, D. M'Cormack, F. J. Robinson, B. Maclachlan, R. C. Dingwall. R. T. Stafford, F Wateland, B. Preddis and H. W. Stannnler.* Of these, G. Blatherwick and G. Innes were killed in action at Gallipoli, and of tho others over 50 per cent had been wounded.
