AMUSEMENTS.

OPERA HOUSE. Despite the unfavourable weather there was a good attendance at the Opera House last evening, when tire vaudeville programme, which included turns by Dorando on Chinese musical instruments, the Harrison Stewarts, coloured comedians, Grade Quine, ragtimo singer, and the other members of Hie company, was repeated with success. The same artists will appear tonight. His MAJESTY'S THEATRE. There was a capacity liouso at His Majesty's Theatre last evening, when tho Famous Players production, 'The Lawn of a To-morrow," with Miss Mary Pickford as the principal character, was again received with much approval. Miss Pickford's characterisation of tho lfttlo waif of tho London slums is said to bo even more successful than her work in "Rags" and " Te-ss of the Storm Country." "The Dawn or a To-morrow," with the supporting films on tho programme, will be shown again to-night. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Tho Triangle Keystone comedy "Dizzy Heights and Daring Heights" with Mr Chester pbnldin as the prinpsl character, was again responsible for much laughter at Evorybody's Theatre yesterday. The prc-grammo will bo repeated to-day.

GRAND THEATRE. The Metro production " Pennington's Choice" was repeated at the Grand Theatre yesterday. The same- programme will bo shown to-day. QUEEN'S THEATRE. Tho programme at the Queen's Theatre, headed by tho Shubert dramatic problem picturo "Bought," was repeated yesterday. With the other films on tho programme it will bo shown again to-day. STARLAND. "The White Sear" was repeated at Starland yesterday, and Miss Iris Edgar's song accompaniment to " Silver Threads Among the Gold" was an additional attraction. The same programme will be shown to-day. GLOBID THEATRE. "An Enemy of Mankind," the first of tho "Stingareo" series, was again shown at tho Globe Theatre yesterday. The same programme will be presented to-day. SYDENHAM THEATRE. The Mary Pick ford film, "The Dawn of a To-morrow," was repeated at tho Svdenham Theatre last evening. It will bo shown again to-night. OLYMPIA RINK. Tho Olympia Rink continues to attract patrons and it was liberally patronised yesterday. The floor will be open as usual to-day. CHRISTCHUROH OROFIESTRAL SOCIETY. Tho Christchurch Orchestral Society's first concert for 1916 will take place at tho Theatre Royal this evening. The box plan, which is ' on view at Tho Bristol, is fairly well scored out, and tho few remaining seats will probably be reserved to-day.
