CANTERBURY RUGBY LEAGUE
A gonerJ meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Rugby League was held on Saturday evening, the following delegates being present—Messrs A. K. Hooper (chairman), 11. F. Garrard, F. Ayling, E. Gusson, \V. Hrnnsdeu, A. Mom's, J. Underwood, A. it. Brunsden, It. Matson, J. Mullanoy, A. Spicer and F. Winter. An inquiry was held into the decisions given in the Addington-Sydenham Third Grade fixture of Juno 10. and. after hearing evidence, the decision given by the referee was confirmed, a motion that the fixture should.be Teplaycd at the end of . the season being rejpeted. The Sydenliam Club reported having disqualified two players taking part in Union fixtures. The club’s action wo.h endorsed. In reference to a ground at Sydenham Parle, the Sydenliam Club suggested that a deputation should wait on the City Council, and tho chairman, secretary and Mr W. Kntnselen were appointed A motion of evmpathy to the relatives of the late Mr F. Moar was recorded. SATURDAY'S FIXTURES. The following nve the fixtures, grounds and referees for Satmday next Junior Flag—Hornby v. Sydenham. Xorth Purk, Mr A. Morris; Linwood v. Federal, Linwood Park. Mr J. Auld. Third Grade—Sydenham v. Linwood. St Albans Park, Mr A. R. Brunsden: Addington v. Hornby, at Hornby, Mr If. Matson.
Fourth Grade—Sydenham v. Adding-toil, Viharomri School ground, Afr H. Piper.
