SWIMMING.
HINEMOA LADIES’ CLUB. On Wednesday evening the Hinemoa Ladies’ Swimming Club held a social in tho Henrietta Rooms. Amongst thoso present was Lady Clifford, who was welcomed by Mrs A. S. I.c-gh. president of the club, and Mrs H. S. Batchelor, vice-president. After musical items had been given, Lady Clifford presented to tho following members the prizes and certificates for t-bo recent point score races and tho carnival: —Mrs Foster, Mrs Whyte. Mrs Car'yle Atkinson, Miss Esther Batchelor, Miss Marjory Legit, Miss N. Wilson, Miss A. Rhodes. Miss A. Minso.n and Miss D. Minaou. Mrs Legh, in a brief address, referred to Mrs Wheeloy's good work among the lady members of the club, and her invaluable assistance during the past six months.
