TAWEEA. Tho Tavern. County Council met on Monday; , preeont—Messrs Seymour (chairmen), Evans, Hanson, Millikcn, O'Shaushncssy nnd 'Jhuloclge.

It wns resolved to grant an extension of two moti'hs to all owners of land fronting the road. Mr Seymour's application to cut willows that wee obstructing his line of fence wti3 granted. Mr Duncan asked penn'maion to put a drain in continuance of one already in existence. The. chairman stated that lie lir.d seen the ground where it wan asked the drain should be made, and he did not think any damage would be done, but ho would li'-e to have the opinion of the other two members of the Springfield Riding. SELWYIT. The Selwy/i County Council met on Monday; present —Messrs K. Wilson (chairman), ■l.'llockaridgc, \V. Stono, K. Murchison, 1). W. Westenra and V. J. Andrew. The Public Works Department wrote, approving of plans and specifications of a bridge over Gleixloro Creek, and authority to proceed with the erection of the structure.
