COAL AND BLANKET FUND.

—^ ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of tho Coal .and Blanket Fund was held at the City Council Library yesterday, the Mayor (Air H. Holland) presiding. The balance-sheet, which was adopted, showed revenue amounting to £l9l 3s. lOd. and an expenditure ot' £6O, leaving a credit balance of £l3l 3s lOd. Thtefollowing officers were elected: Chairwoman. Mrs Malcolm; secretary, Miss Cardfile; committee, Mes-dames Green, Loach, Wilson, Bilcliffe and Spears, and another representative, Sisters Annie, Winr.ifred, Annie Lecher, Florence Miriam. Grace. Catherine and Julia, Nurse Gennoy, and the Rev Rule and N. Turner. On the motion of tho Mayor it was decided that £SO should be voted from tfie Citizens’ Benevolent Fund to iho trustees of the Coal and Blanket Fund. The fund will open on the first Wednesday in June.
