Percy Knox, engaged on tho Okaim* kura tunnel work, was working on tho night shift on Friday when he struck the percussion cap of an unexploded charge. Ho was blown into the air and sustained bad injuries to ankle, arms and faco. Ho was removed to the Taumfirunui Hospital. Knox may lose tho sight of one eye. BOY CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH r MOTOR-CAR. While cycling along Moorhouse Ave. inie last evening, Ttiomas Balfour, a boy of fourteen, residing at the corner of Simeon and Jerrold Streets, Spreydon, collided with a motor-car and was picked up unconscious. He was removed to tho Hospital, and late last evening was progressing favourably.
