HOCKEY.
NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. Tbo Management Committee of the No l7 Zealand Association met last evening; present—Messrs H. S. J. Goodman (chairman), G. W. Ford, D. Snell, P>. P. Granger, R. Browning-, A. W. Dunklev and C. Atkinson. On tbo motion of Mr Ford, it was decided that the various associations should he wri ten to in reference to tho lack of response to the annual meeting, such letters to be sent in care of the editors of newspapers in tho various districts. It was agreed, on tho motion of Mr Atkinson, that no challenge shield or Nordo.i Cup matches should be played this season . Mr Dunklcy moved that it skculd, bp a recommendation that tho various associations should make some endeavour on behalf o. tho Patriotic Funds. . It. was decided to write to the associations voicing tho motion.
