ROSS REPORT. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 23. The Ross Mine superintendent reports for the week ended February 17Progress in No. 19 north drive was 20 feet, making a total progress of 11 feet from the main east drive. The" terrace bottom, which continued to rise, now occupies the Whole face of tile drive, low orade blue wash disappearing above the points of the last back laths. This drive has been stopped and a bore ho'e is being put up prior to testing the wash above with a small rise. At 60 feet north a drive to the oast in (lie direction of the Morning Star shaft was started, and has advanced 10 feet in jusl fair grade wash. Blocking is proceeding off Nos. 7 and 11 north drives, and Nos. 12 and 14 south drives.

MURRAY CREEK REPORT. WELLINGTON, February 23. The Murray Creek Mine manager reports that 545 toil's were crushed, yielding 4160 z IGclwt of melted gold and 740 z of bullion of th; approximate value of £1941.
