NAVY LEAGUE’S EFFORT. The expenditure was £lls 7s. of which £4O Is 3d was paid for printing and flag Vinrleos. The balance amounted to £521 o- oil, and of that sum £SOO had been 'Emitted to London. In addition there stocks in band which when sold elm,lid increase the fund by over £2O. The balance-sheet was adopted Letters were received from London, expressing high appreciation of the Christchurch effort. Tt was decided to advertise a general ,mte of thanks to all helpers and to the public- who had contributed so generously.
