MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The Hope of Christchurch Lodge, 1.0.G.i., Hold its usual session oil Tuesday, Sister Mardon, C.T., presiding. The District Lodge was granted tho use of the lodge-room on the, iollowing week for its annual session. Sister Gunncil gave a report as a delegate to the Red Cross mooting, n.nd said she had taken ill a number of articles to the Worcester Street depot. At a meeting cf the St Albans Rechabite Tent on Wednesday evening. Brother H. G. Liebert was the recipient of a framed Past Chief Ruler's certificate. The presentation was made by Past Chief Ruler Brother A. Martin, who referred to the excellent service rendered t<*> the Tent by Brother Liebert. The proposed ccnstitutioi of the Friendly Societies' Council was endorsed and the secretary was appointed as delegate. Past Chief Ruler Brother W. L. Esselbourn, now at Trei'.th.am. forwarded hearty greetings, and it was decided iliat a reciprocal note should l,c- sent wishing him good luck and a safe return.
