MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

LYTTELTON. On Saturday Air C. Ferrier, J.P., presided at the Magistrate's Court at Lyttelton. John Eagleton and Alfred Aloifatt were charged with desertion from the steamer Pakeha. Eaeli was convicted and sentenced to one month's imprisonment, and ordered to be placed on board the vessel when she leaves for London.
