MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

CHRISTCHURCH. Mr Tv. Mathoson, J.P., and Mr Fenner, ,T.P. presided at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Pearl Davidson and Henry M’Lenn were each fined 10s for riding bicycles on footpaths. On a charge of driving n motor-cycle at, excessive speed, Edward Ernest Cater was fined 20s and costs. For cycling without a light.. Percy Hill-was fined los and costs. For leaving a vehicle unattended, George Howe was fined 20s and costs. Thomas Al’Gallon. charged with allowing cattle to wander, said a tenmonths' calf broke through his fence. A fine of os and costs was imposed. LYTTELTON. “ Mr H. AY. Bishop, S.M., presided at tile Magistrate’s Court, at Lyttelton. For a breach of a prohibition order Grace Evans was fined 10s. In a civil case. D. E. L. Collett v. L. M. Neu-mniv. claim £1 Os -Id, judgment was entered for plaintiff by default.
