A NEW RAILWAY.
[Per Press Association’.] GISBORNE. December IS. The first section of the GisborneNapier railway was informally opened to-day, when the Public Works Department commenced running trains io Ngatapa, fifteen miles from Gisborne. A representative gathering of citizens .journeyed by the first train and congratulatory speeches were made.
