NORTH CANTERBURY GUN CLUB.
The committee of tho Xorth Canterbury Gun Club met at Rangiora on Thursday evening. Mr B. Edwards (president) was in the chair. An interim statement of the club's accounts showed the finances to b« in a very satisfactory condition, notwithstanding a heavy loss made in connection with the £SO sparrow match held in August. After payment of accounta to the amount cf £25, there will be a substantial credit balance to carry for ward to next year. Jtr Edwards tendered hig resignation owing to being about to leave Rangiora. The resignation was received with regret, and it was dacided to present Mr Edwards with a. momenta of hi? active connection with tho club, ar.d elect him a life member.
It was also decided to suitably recognise the services of the handioappcr, Mr AY. Henry, and the secretary, Mr H. Dix.
