TO THE EniTOR. Sir,—Now that . the wounded soldiers are returning, would it not be possible for each trade union .to appoint one of these partially disabled men as its secretary? For instance, there are sure to be general labourers, carters, joiners, tramway men, etc., returning wounded, and each union oould appoint one of their returned members as secretary, in place of the ablebodied men at present so employed, who would then be available for some other branch of employment.— l am, etc., ADVOCATE.
