MEETING OF DIRECTORS. WORKS TO BE ERECTED AT AT KAIAPOI. At a- meeting of the directors of the North Canterbury SheepfarmeiV Cooperative Freezing Company, held on Wednesday, Messrs J. H. Blackwell, F. Parnham and M'lntosh, representing the Kaiapoi Committee, waited on the board. Mr Blackwell stated that his com- ! mittee had been able to obtain a concession in the price of the laud over wn.ch options were held, and it now 11 offered to provide share capital amounting to £20,0U0, provided the company was prepared to co-operate with it and buikl freezing works at Kaiapoi. , At this stage a conference was held with' the directors of the Canterbury Frozen Moat Company, but no satisfactory arrangement with regard to amalgamation between the two companies was arrived at. It was decidod to accept the Kaiapoi committee's offer, and to take immediate steps to acquire the thirty acres of land offered' as a site for the works. Tie chairman (Mr G. D.
