"Within an hour and a half extending from about half-past eleven to a little, after one o'clock this morning the Fire Brigade turned out three timc3. The first alarm was g.ven from tho corner of Bealey Avenue and Victoria Street, and tho second from the corner oB Bealey Avenue a Manchester Street.Both alarms were false. On the third occasion the call was received from the box at the corner of Colombo and Angus Streets, Sydenham. The fire waf in an unoccupied four-roomed cottage in Southampton Street belonging to Mrs dlar. The two back rooms were damaged by fire and the front rooms byl smoke and heat before the blase was k extinguished. k
