A Berlin communique states that, the Silesian Lnndsturm stormed some trenches north-west of Souchez and captured four machine guns. ’ On tho Liugokopf-Barron-kopf line, after a four hours’ hand to hand struggle, our counterattacks repulsed the French attacks. We captured tho trenches previously lost at Lingekopf, except a small portion. Wo took a thousand prisoners.
