At tho Addington metropolitan market yesterday. Mr H. D. Maedonaid, of Messrs t'yne and Co., sad that since the previous sale they had lost one of tho best buyers in the market, Mr A. L. Jc33ph. He fe t that it was only right that they should pass a resolution of 'condolence with his family. Mr Joseph would bj missed, sadly missed, by both salesmen and vendors of stock. He always bought the best stock, and he trusted that those who Would carry on tho business would have, tli!;" same pleasant relations as had existed between the late. Mr Joseph and those with whom, he had carried on his operations. Messrs F. H. Steel and J. Knight endorsed Mr Mcedonafd's remarks, the latter stating that M r Joseph was a straight man and a straight bidder. A resolution of condolence wi.h the mem.b rs of the deceased's family was curried in silence.
