FINANCIAL STATEMENT DELAYED The Financial Statement, though readv, will not be delivered until Friday, as the House haa some important work to complete before tackling the Estimates. WAR PENSIONS BILL. First in order is the War Pensions Bill, which has been revised by the Secret Defence Committee. It is understood that the minimum pension of 25s weekly to a disabled private or his widow is "to be increased. Many advocates of £2 a week were heard during the debate, but it is understood that the committee and the Government have had to compromise between the two extremes on the basis of " split the difference." '
