[Per Press Akociatiojj.3 WELLINGTON, July 18. About one thousand people attended the Newtown Park on Saturday afternoon to witness the drill competition between various units of the National Reserve belonging to the Wellington military area. Unfortunately, a postponement was rendered necessary through a heavy downpour of rain. The winning team which secured the National Reserve flag, donated by Councillor L. W. M'Eenzie,'was from Haitaitai; "Wellington South was second', and Mirarnar came i!f>xt. with Thorndon and Wadestown equal for fourth place.
