The Rangaiira is one of the steamers engaged in trade between the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, tor which service a subsidy is paid by the Canadian Government. The assent to the Premier's representations rvill have the effect jf relicring the pressure in freezing works at Auckland and othar -ports.
