LINWOOD RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB. the annual meeting of the Linwood Rugby League Foot-ball Club will .«» held at the Eastern Hotel to-morrow evening at eight o’clock.

CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. Th" torty-eignth annual general meeting of the Christchurch Football Club was held lust night, Mr John Anderson being in the choir. i Tho report stated that .forty- two members of the club had enlisted for active service. The membership ’ now stood at la life, ygy active and 12 country members an increase of five active and six country members on the previous year’s figures. Tho report and balance-sheet- were adopted. Messrs \V. JV Walter, C. F. Smith and D. Hoare were elected life - members of th* club.
