HERTZOG’S ACCUSATIONS.

General Hertzog, speaking in the Assembly, attributed the rebellion to the Government’s unconstitutional action.;' He admitted that the Governjinent had done its duty in suppressing the disorder.

Mr Nesor, Chairman of Committees, announced that the late General Beyers on August 14, told the commandants that they were going to the border to receive German guns and ammunition,' and would return to Pretoria to establish a republic. The rebels iii the Grange State have resolved to repay all damage. Some loyalists merely claimed the cost price of. articles commandeered.
