Chapman to-day sentenced Phyllis Fouler io three months’ imprisonment for concealing the dead body of her child at ITawera. and ICllen Sullivan to four months’ imprisonment for stabbing her mother with n knife. .Arthur Charles Pearce was admitted .to probation for theft at Wellington, ’conditionally on, partial restitution. Philip Goorgo Bernard was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment for escaping from custody at Wanganui. Dorothy Soon liar and Lesley Reid, two young women, charged with the theft of £ l4l o<ld from an hotel, the money having all been recovered except about £IS, were admitted to probation .
