COUNTY COUNCILS. ASHLEY COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OP SPECIAL" LOAN AND POLL. NOTICE is hereby given that the ASHLEY COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to raise by way of SPECIAL LOAN under "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," from the State Advances Superintendent, the sum of £2OOO for the purpose of BUILDING a BRIDGE over the OKUKU RIVER together with approaches and protective works, such loan to bear interest at the rate of Four Pounds Ten Shillings per Centum per annum and have a currency of thirty-sis and one-half years. It is projxmed to pay the said loan in the said period by half-yearly instalments of principal and' interest, according to the prescribed tables. As Security for the proposed Loan and for providing for the payment of the said instalments of principal and interest, the Council proposes to make and levy "a Special Annually Recurring Rate of One-twelfth of a Penny in the Pound on the Capital Value of all Rateable Property in the County. It is not proposed to pay out of the said Loan the cost of raising the Loan or the instalments of principal (sinking fund) or interest for the first year. NOTICE is aUo given that a POLL OF RATEPAYERS on the said Proposal will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 20th DAY of JANUARY, 1915, commencing at 9 o'clock in the forenoon <ind closing at 6 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day.
