Sir, —In looking over our local paper T find that (by telegraph) in the Ellesniero electorate tho votes of the Expeditionary Force were as follows: — Government 33, Opposition 25, Labour 5. As the Labour votes wont to tho Opposition candidates the Hon .11. HRnodes's majority has heen increased by 13 votes. This makes the final returns aii follows: —Rhodes 2507, Free 2621. majority for Rhodes 273. Now, Mr Editor, could you toll us the correct numbers, ns 1 understand Mr Rhodes's majority was 2o0? Furthermore, could you explain how it was that wo did not get some of the returns for the Ellesmere electorate that, night, and according to the figures supplied to your paper in Southbrid£-~> Rhodes had lfi« votes.
