SUPREME COURT.

IN DIVORCE. A sitting, of the Supreme Court, in Sivorce, was held hefore his Honor Mr Justice Denniston yesterday. In the case in which George Meddings (Mr Acland). petitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with Mary Ellen Meddings, on grounds of desertion, a decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months. Rose Propsting (Mr E. Harper) petitioned for the dissolution of her marriage with Ernest George Propsting, on grounds of desertion. A decree nisi was granted, to, be made absolute in three months, and custody of the child was given to the petitioner. In the case in which Sutherton James George (Mr Cassidy) petitioned for a dissolution of Ids marriage with Caroline George, on grounds of desertion and misconduct, a decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months, and the petitioner was given custody of the children of the marriage. Olive Ferguson (Mr C. Stringer) petitionee! for the dissolution of her marriage with David Ferguson, on grounds of desertion and misconduct. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months, with costs against the respondent, custody of the child to be given to the petitioner. In the case in which Emily Mary Ann Biddle (Mr M'Connell) petitioned for a .dissolution of her marriage with Frederick Llewellyn-Biddle. on _ the grounds of desertion, a decree nisi was granted, to bd made absolute in three months. Ernest Vernon Smith (Mr Alpers) petitioned fo- a dissolution -of his marriage with Mary Jane Smith, Frank Chandler being joined as co-respon-dent. His Honor, after hearing evidence, said he would consider whether the affidavits were sufficient upon which to grant a decree. Emma Douglas (Mr Edgar) petitioned for a dissolution of her marriage with Rufus Owen Douglas, on grounds of desertion and misconduct. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months, with costs against respondent on the lowest scale. The Court then adjourned till Monday at 10.30 a.m.
