The sudden departure of ; Colonel Basaroff, Russian Attache, is regarded in some quart era as conneoted with Pohl’s and Bluimenthal’s arrest. Rumours connect* him with the disappearance of plans of fortifications at Konigsberg, although it is semi-officially d'enied that ho is implicated. It is widely believed that he has been recalled.
