EMPRESS OF IRELAND.
FINDING OF THE COURT.
LINER CORRECTLY MANOEUVRED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. QUEBEC, July 12.
Lord Mersey, dealing with the evidence of Galway to the effect that the helm of the Empress of Ireland was working badly, discredited it. The evidence of the officers of the Empress of Ireland showed, he said, that the apparatus was in perfect order. Tho Court generally* concludes that the liner was correctly manoeuvred, after sighting the Storstad.
