[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Juno 4. Regarding the telegram received from Wanganui yesterday through tho Press Association in the case of Paterson v. Smytlie, claim for £2OOO for libel. Mr Milford, counsel for the defence, points out that the verdict was not for £IOOO as stated in the telegram, hut- for £IOO and costs on tlie lowest scale.
