PRESENTATIONS.
At the Grand Hotel. Wellington, Mr and Mrs J. Beveridge, who are coming to Christchurch to take control of the Clarendon Hotel, were entertained by the staff, and were presented with a silver-mounted Doulton ware coffee service. Mr H. Pound, in making the presentation, referred in appreciative terms to the unfailing courtesy the staff had always received, and to the esteem in which the recipients wore held. Mr T. H. Beveridge was also presented with a solid silver cigarotto-caso.
